• ESTIMATES & JOB ENTRY
A job is entered into production after a quantity & price are agreed on from your estimate.
• PROOFS
Proofs are how we establish what your job will be. A proof can be a photocopy you pick up, an email sent as .pdf, or a FAX. A signature is required before press time can be scheduled. Alterations made after proof approval will incur additional charges.
• ALTERATIONS
Changes to camera-ready art, or multiple changes to proofs, are considered alterations and are charged at the standard MacTime/Composition rate of $60.00 per hour.
• CAMERA-READY ARTWORK
Electronic files in the .pdf format can be accepted as camera-ready art. Otherwise, clear black and white copy, requiring no changes, should be provided. See our File Prep Guidelines for more information.
• MACTIME/COMPOSITION
We have a complete pre-press department and are able to design your job completely, or type set your creative layout. MacTime is charged at an hourly rate and is used to set up or make changes to jobs. Text on a disk will reduce the amount of MacTime required on your job.
• DEPOSITS & TERMS
Account terms are due upon receipt. Some jobs will require deposits. In that case, half of the job cost is due on order and the balance on delivery. We accept MasterCard & VISA.
• FORM NUMBERS
We give each form a unique number and place it in the lower right corner of the form. This number allows you to reorder the form over the phone, with confidence.
• TURN TIME
Our standard delivery is eight working days. We often turn jobs faster, but be sure we are aware of any deadline you may have.
• OVERTIME
Any order that requires work to be performed after Friday 5:30 PM and before Monday 8:30 AM, will incur an overtime charge of $85.00 per hour in addition to the job order.
• OVER/UNDER RUNS
The printing industry has a standard delivery policy of 10% over or under. Meaning that 10% more or less than the quantity ordered can be delivered and considered acceptable. Let us know if your quantity is critical.
